Diet for Acid Reflux

If you suffer from acid reflux then you are going to want to design a diet for acid reflux, one that consists of only safe foods, which are those that are not going to aggravate your condition. Keep in mind that everyone is different and so everyone0s acid reflux condition is going to be different as well.

Any good diet for acid reflux will contain a few basic staples, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, legumes, wholegrain breads and cereals, and lots of fiber. Just make sure that as you increase your intake of fiber you also drink more water, because if not you may end up constipated.
Another basic that should be included in a typical diet for acid reflux is milk. Milk helps acid reflux by calming and coating the stomach, and the best idea is to have a glass or two of milk right before bed, because this is when acid reflux and heartburn tend to strike most often. Drinking milk is definitely one of the quickest solutions to solving a stomach acid problem, although it is only a temporary solution.
