The Causes Of Heartburn

Heartburn is usually caused by certain foods, some of which may contain acids. The frequency of the episodes of heartburn may also offer clues on the causes for heartburn, but in some cases individual record-keeping may be needed to learn how to avoid the incidences of indigestion. Work, of course, can be a significant source of stress, and thus a cause of heartburn and aggravation and this includes such jobs that may be overall rewarding. As the lower esophageal sphincter relaxes its tightness, acids will damage our esophagus resulting in a painful condition. What causes heartburn can be some fried and fatty foods. Heartburn is a painful and uncomfortable condition that may recur and is often triggered by the food we eat and stress.

Many of symptoms of acid reflux and heartburn may start out the same, as a slight burning sensation in the upper stomach and then it climbs into the esophagus.
